Forget Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter - Belize's Seasons are Dry and Wet

Belize has two distinct seasons - the dry and the wet season. The dry season is generally from December to May, when most tourists visit Belize since this is the most pleasant season of the year. The rainy season is primarily from mid-May to November, but even during this time, the region does not experience continuous rainfall for days. The sunny weather with warm sunshine returns soon in a day or two, much to the delight of tourists and residents alike. The amount of rainfall in any part of Belize is often dependent upon the elevation of the place.

Temperatures range from 50°F to 95°F, with an average mean temperature of 79°F, making for pleasant temperatures for the residents and tourists who choose to spend their vacation or buy property in Belize. The warmest months are from May to September.
