Casa Ix Chel was designed by the owners, a doctor and nurse from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. This earthbag home is located at the junction of Parrot’s Cove and Forest Hill Drive in our Belize eco-village A sublime design.

A whimsical door tailor made for a hobbit ....or two!
Glass bottles were sourced locally first, literally collecting bottles from and along roadsides in Belize. Some of the coloured bottles we had to bring in from Chetumal, Mexico.
House is 950 sq.ft.; 1200 sq.ft. including verandahs.
